SunGard's Adaptiv Wins Two Awards in 2011 Waters Rankings
July 14, 2011 - SunGard's Adaptiv has won two awards from Waters magazine for Best Counterparty Risk Management Provider and Best Market Risk Solution Provider.
This is the third year in a row that SunGard placed first in the Waters Rankings for Best Counterparty Risk Management Provider. Adaptiv helps customers measure, manage, and control counterparty credit exposure in real time on an enterprise-wide basis. Best Market Risk Solution Provider was also awarded to Adaptiv, which helps firms calculate, analyze and report market risk.
The Waters Rankings are determined by readers of Waters magazine, who this year voted in 26 categories across the global financial services industry.
Mat Newman, vice president of product management for SunGard's Adaptiv business unit, said, "The Adaptiv solution suite helps customers improve transparency into risk data, and therefore gain ability to better understand and manage risk. The solution helps customers meet regulatory demands, including gaining internal model approval under existing regulations or preparing for new requirements such as those around CVA."
